Propellor Monument at Exmorra

It had been thought that the flight plan taken by FK790 meant that the agents were due to be dropped near Exmorra, in Friesland; the people of Exmorra were largely instrumental in the restoration of the propellor from FK790, which is mounted on a plinth in the village square and is looked after by local schoolchildren. In July 1998, Derek Eliot (son of Sgt. Eliot) and I were guests of honour when the monument was unveiled in Exmorra.
